SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it really is alarmed about the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the status sassa Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The assistance level created for intervention ordeals a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to enable the servicing of all buyers and maximize entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
